Metro Cities Hockey Club was founded by a group of Southern California first responders who wanted more than a beer league — they wanted a team that stood for something. What started as a handful of skaters borrowing ice time has grown into a full club competing in the LEAF League through Anaheim Ice.

Our roster is made up of police officers, firefighters, paramedics, EMTs, and dispatchers from departments across the metro area. On shift we rely on each other; on the ice we push each other. The crest we wear — the fire helmet over crossed sticks — says it all.

Beyond league play, the club skates in charity games and community events, raising money and awareness for causes that matter to the first responder family.
